Weekend Family Season 2 Full Episode Guide
The family gets an impromptu visit from a real estate agent who has come to deliver some bad news: their apartment’s owner has decided to sell, and the visits start tomorrow. The family has mixed feelings about this. Fred, in a panic, tries to come up with ways to discourage potential buyers with the girls’ help so that they can keep the apartment. Emma starts imagining their lives elsewhere…
Emma runs into Caroline, an old college friend who is a real word mill. Unable to get a sentence in, Emma lets Caroline believe that she does not have any children and introduces Clara as her neighbor. When the job that Caroline gets for Clara turns into a fiasco, things get complicated for Emma. Meanwhile, Fred tries his best to put together a piece of furniture to give as a present to Jean and Helena, who is very close to having the baby.
The entire family gets together to organize the summer holidays and it is not an easy feat. Emma proposes to handle it before realizing that it is a much more arduous task than it seems. Especially since Vic and Clara reveal certain things that leave Fred shocked and complicates things further. While Romy is busy and no one knows what she’s up to, Fred challenges Clara to realize a number of impossible tasks.
Vic tries to understand if her feelings for Nolan are reciprocal and asks her sisters for advice. But, since Emma is away at a seminar this weekend, Fred is alone with his daughters and is determined to meddle in their business. In order to show Vic what mistakes not to make, Fred dives into his past and tells the girls how he met their mothers.
When Fred gets home, things are in disarray: Vic has not started reading the book she will be tested on next Monday, Romy was caught cheating at school, and Clara has catastrophic grades on her drivers’ test. The worst comes when Fred sees his ratings as a physio on the Internet: a certain Coconut12 gave him a zero. With the girls’ help, along with Emma and Stan, Fred tries to find out who the troll is.
For her tenth birthday, Romy wants to organize a legendary party. She needs all hands on deck: Vic is in charge of entrances and exits and Clara has to get the cake. As for Fred and Emma, they only have one mission: to stay away from the living room. This is not a problem for Emma who has an important meeting. But for Fred, it’s a nightmare.
Grandma Jo, Fred’s mother, shows up by surprise. Fred is certain that she is going to announce that she wants to move in with him and the family for good. Grandma Jo indeed has something to tell Fred, but it is not what he thinks. On their end, Romy and Vic put themselves in a complicated situation and try to save Helena’s “gender reveal” party.
One year of living together calls for a celebration! Following Stan’s bad advice, Fred challenges himself to take Emma to Venice without leaving Paris. To make things harder, Romy decides that she wants to live with her dad during the week since Helena, now pregnant, won’t stop talking about her baby. Vic refuses to take a shower or change her clothes. Clara, obsessed with the issue of overconsumption, imposes drastic cuts on the whole family. Fred’s romantic evening is off to a rough start!
