Childline worker Ivo becomes more and more involved in the problems of commune children Piet and Donnie. It is 1986. When Childline employee Ivo starts a conversation with the girl Piet (9), he gets a glimpse into her difficult home situation. Piet lives in a commune, which consists of four women, four children and one man, Bert. Ivo goes from one surprise to another, but what worries him most is that Piet and her best friend have come up with a plan to kill Bert.
