In Upper Island Cove, the heat is on to deliver a breathtaking transformation in time for the holidays. After living in a construction zone for months, Paul is determined to complete his own ambitious reno. As several projects wind down, Randy steps up the pace on a major waterfront build in Brigus. And, back at the shop, the team honours the past by showcasing the antique treasures they’ve unearthed under the floorboards.
It takes a village to pull together a dazzling custom kitchen. And then the team works flat out to deliver a jaw-dropping Petty Harbour overhaul in time for the homeowners’ move-in date. The crew devotes the weekend to updating a century-old house with great bones. And, it’s a bittersweet salvage operation for Randy and his cousins as they bid farewell to a family home filled with ghosts and memories.
In Petty Harbour, the team gets creative when delivery delays bring work to a standstill. Harvey leads the charge to transform a century-old biscuit box house in Upper Island Cove. And, the crew comes together to finish a ‘deadly’ outdoor entertainment space at Randy’s—but the gloves come off for a high-stakes cookoff complete with dueling deep fryers and an epic feed.
There’s barely any wiggle room as the crew shores up the Petty Harbour project with three huge beams. Nikki gets an important lesson about installing clapboard on a wonky home. And, after building a deluxe playhouse for six-year-old Allie, Randy and the crew trek to a remote village clear across the island for the big reveal.
Work on an historic biscuit box house gets off to a rough start. And the crew breaks ground on a snowballing project at Randy’s place.
After a big dig in Brigus, the team picks up speed on a major addition; an excavator breakdown means heavy lifting for Randy and Paul; a once sinking home is finally ready for its dazzling reveal.
A sprawling bungalow is gutted just as a century-old home begins to show off its new charms; a pair of ambitious weekend projects yield a birthday surprise for the kids and a scenic overlook at an historic lighthouse
After a hurricane, it’s all hands on deck to transform a ratty old boat into an eye-popping ‘catty’ sea shed. And, fixing a foundation in St. John’s means pumping concrete clear over the roof to the other side of the house.
An ambitious demo in St. John’s reveals a dangerous flaw that brings a century-home project to a standstill. And, while rebuilding an historic Carbonear root cellar, Randy and his father find plenty of reasons to celebrate.
