Heritage Crafts President HRH The Prince of Wales has lent his name to a new series, The Prince’s Master Crafters: The Next Generation, set to spotlight Britain’s rich heritage of traditional crafts. Backed by Heritage Crafts and The Prince’s Foundation who put forward the featured experts from amongst Heritage Crafts members, the series sees a selection of top amateur craftspeople take on a variety of crafting challenges to supercharge their skills before each of them creates a final showcase piece to present to His Royal Highness in person.

2022Bill Bailey takes over as host of the programme in which junior craftspeople explore the history and importance of key disciplines, including stained glass, wood carving and silversmithing.

The Prince's Master Crafters Season 2 Full Episode Guide
With the help of experts Ndidi Ekubia MBE and Thomas Lyte, the junior crafters are guided through a plethora of silversmithing techniques.
The junior crafters are taught how to carve in 3D with sculptor Clunie Fretton, and learn about wheelwrighting with expert Mike Rowland.
In the first masterclass, the junior crafters come under the tutelage of stained-glass expert John Reyntiens, who has worked on Windsor Castle and the Elizabeth Tower
