The observational documentary series exploring the lives of British ex-pats in Benidorm continues, as businesswoman Vikki decides to tempt her UK-based clients into embracing the Spanish lifestyle more vigorously with a `Spanish Day' at her salon. Meanwhile, a bad break-up for 21-year-old Ben, who runs the resort's only British-owned mobility scooter business, prompts his dad Mick to fly in to provide some much-needed perspective. Plus, the show provides an insight into the world of twin sisters Catherine and Patricia, expert scrimpers who keep meticulous records of their expenditure, once managing to drop their weekly outlay to just one euro.
Graham, the entertainments manager of a local campsite, longs to be with his girlfriend who lives in Northern Ireland. Eddie, a singer is trying to crack the scene.
The documentary following Brits who moved to Spain focuses on former miner Tad from Yorkshire who owns a handful of hostelries across Benidorm, dishing up English beer and food to Brits in the sun. Cameras also follow Dave, who supports his family with a variety of jobs, and scrimping pensioners Mo and Peggy, who flit between Benidorm and Bournemouth according to the weather.
Barry has arrived in Benidorm with just €900 to his name, he hopes his magic act will win him some punters. Mick and Karen have sold their home back in Essex and hope that ploughing the money into a cabaret bar will pay off. John is unprepared when he goes about his day-to-day life picking up selling and buying disused caravans, but on one job he finds something rather disturbing.
The third highest-selling Avon rep in Spain, Val, lets us in on some secrets. Dean shows off his €300 a month bachelor pad. Eddie is hoping to crack the entertainment scene and Ms Levi G shows off her cabaret bar.
