2015Janak is childless! His kingdom, Mithila has had a drought for 12 years. Elsewhere, Ram and his brothers are under the tutelage of Guru Vashisht. Janaka builds a golden sickle and unearths a baby girl, as he begins to plough! The baby's first cry leads to rainfall! Ram vows to reunite his mother with his sister. Sita questions her teacher Gautama Rishi and protects her father Rajrishi Janak.

Dashrath greets Guru Vashisht with his wives. Guru Vashish cautions him to not break his promises. Sage Vishwamitra visits Mithila and recognises Sita's divinity. He cautions Janak against a potential danger to the kingdom. Ram wishes to meet Kaikeyi. However, Kaikeyi does not open the door for him.
Bharat leaves Ayodhya. Yagnavalkya accepts Sita's request to let Gargi teach her. Kaikeyi manipulates Dasharath; wants him to make Bharat his successor. Janak decides to build a Gouri temple. Guru Vashisht asks Ram to protect the glory of the Raghus. Lord Vishnu appears before Sumitra!
Kaikeyi asks Yudhjit to take Bharat with him to Kekaya. But Dashrath is against her decision. Bharat tells Kaushalya that he does not want to go. Shatrughan decides to accompany Bharat to Kekaya. Sita asks Gargi to become a tutor at Maharishi Yagnawalkya's gurukul.
Parshuram assures Sita that he has not come there to harm Janak. He tells Janak that the person who will tie the thread to the Shiv Dhanush will be the eligible groom for Sita. Dashrath confronts Yudhjit and tells him that Ram will be his heir. Kaikeyi argues with Dashrath for hiding the truth.
Kaikeyi tells Manthara to go home for speaking against Ram. Sita decides to stop Parshuram from attacking Mithila. Kaikeyi teaches sword fighting to her sons. Janak wants to welcome Parshuram to his city. Sita picks up the Shiva Dhanush to protect Janaka from Parshuram.
Ashwapati, Kaikeyi’s father asks Yudhjeet to visit Ayodhya and remind Dasharath about his promise. Kaikeyi asks Manthara to groom her and waits for Dasharath. She is disheartened when she learns that Dasharath will not come. Ram comforts Kaikeyi.
Janak asks Sudhanva to return to Sankashya. Kaushalya tells Dasharath about Shanta. She apologises to Dasharath for being irresponsible. A washerman, Bhadra is overjoyed when Ram assures of helping him. Shathanand shares his woes with Sita. Sumitra tells Kaikeyi that Kaushalya is with Dasharath.
Kushadwaj agrees to let Mandvi and Shrutakirti stay at Mithila. Ram's family bids farewell to Shanta. Janak talks to Sita about the great Raghu clan. Kaikeyi is angry at Dasharath for being indifferent to her. Sita questions Janaka for punishing Sudhanva for invading Mithila.
Sita goes in search of Mandvi and Shrutakirti. Kaushalya is happy to meet Shanta. Shanta recognises her brothers Ram, Lakshman, Bharath and Shatrughna. Meanwhile, Sita finds Mandvi and Shrutakirti. Janaka tells Kushadwaj to let Mandvi and Shrutakirti stay with him.
Ram asks Dasharath about Shanta. Dasharath remembers Shanta's sacrifice and shares his grief with Ram. He allows Ram to take Kaushalya to see Shanta. Ram and Kaushalya reach Shringeri. Mandvi and Shrutakirti go missing.
Kaushalya tells Ram about his sister Shanta. She tells him that Rishi Shringa had performed a yagna for his birth. The yagna had to be performed by a householder. Shanta had gone to Sringeri to marry the Rishi and bring him to Ayodhya. Ram vows to make Kaushalya meet Shanta.
Janak tells Sunaina that his brother Kushadwaj is about to gain victory over Sudhanva. Rama visits the atheist sage Jabali. Sita is upset as her cousins will be relocating to the new kingdom. Ram finds the idol of his sister Shanta. Kaushalya reveals to Ram that he has a sister!
Ram and his brothers are unable to sleep in the luxurious place. They change into their Gurukul clothes and sleep peacefully on the floor. Sita consoles her sisters Shrutakirti and Manvi as they worry about the war. Ram is upset to see the special treatment offered to the dignitaries in his court.
Sita expresses her wish to set up a nursing camp if Sudhanva wages a war against Mithila. Manthara tries in vain to poison Kaikeyi's mind against Ram. Later, Kaikeyi is overjoyed to see Ram. Kaushalya meets Ram and embraces him. Sita comforts her sisters as they worry about the war.
Janak learns that King Sudhanva is about to attack Mithila. Kaushalya recalls Ram's childhood and feels upset about not meeting him. Ram and his brothers enter the palace and visit their mothers. Sumitra tells them about the yagna performed by Dasharath for their birth.
A pandit curses Rishi Jabali. Ram, Laxman, Bharat and Shatrughan arrive in Ayodhya. Rishi Jabali is happy that Ram remembers him. Dasharat tells Ram and his brothers that they can meet their mothers after the puja. Janak is worried that King Sudhanwa will attack Mithila.
Sita learns that a prince from Raghu's clan will end Ahalya's curse. Janaka decides to send Sita to a Gurukul and consoles a worried Sunaina. Ram and his brothers take leave of Guru Vashisht and begin their journey home. Sita’s sister, Shurtakirti is startled by a serpent while enjoying a game.
Sita and her sisters go through the forest to look for the missing cows. A Brahmin warns her against roaming in the woods since Ahalya's ashram is located there. He tells her that Ahalya had been cursed by Gautam Maharshi. Sita returns home with the cows. Later, she questions Rishi Gautam about his curse.
Ram talks to Guru Vashisth about his nightmare. Elsewhere, Maharishi Gautam tells Janak that he wants to become Sita's Guru. Janak announces in the gyan sabha of rewarding the most knowledgable person with 1000 cows. Janak is worried learning that the cows have run away.
Dasarath enjoys a hearty meal with his sons. Ram notices a wound on Dasarath's foot and tends to it. Dasarath recalls Ram's childhood. Elsewhere, Sunaina teaches Sita how to cook. Kaushalya is sad thinking about Ram's sister, Shanta. Ram has a vision of Lord Vishnu in his dream.
Dasharath watches Ram excel in the archery and combat tests conducted by Guru Vashisht. Elsewhere, Sita impresses her family by making mud figures. Yogini Sulabha visits Mithila to test Janak. She blesses Sita and predicts Mithila to become the centre of spiritual learning in the days to come.
Sita plays Goddess Durga in a skit. Janak admires her performance. Dasharath visits Guru Vashisht's ashram. He shares with the Guru, his guilt of accidentally killing Shravan Kumar. Later, Dasharath watches his sons display their combat skills in a competition.
Janak wants to be ensured if the baby has a family. He is shocked to see the baby lift Shiv Dhanush. A sage suggests Janak to keep the baby. Janak decides to name her, Sita. Dasharath is eager to meet his sons. Janak and his family watch a play performed by Sita and her sisters.
