A summary of episodes 11 to 14
Hachiko and Kinojo may be strong, but they're not the best pair to be stuck in a labyrinth with.
Beni and Hachiko temporarily cured by using a broom for a weapon) can't defeat Goriki and Tenchi is forced to take it down with the Tenchi-ken. A dazed Beni is hazily aware of the extreme power he shows in the battle. Everyone finds their way out. Yuki and Rui run off with a cart full of "borrowed" supplies for the festival.
Tenchi amd Hachiko have to team with Beni to find their way out of the warehouse. When Beni tries to smash her way out, she activates the robot Goriki, which starts attacking them. Hachiko's wooden sword is broken, which reduces her to a crying mess.
This episode features prominent references to Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Tenchi and Hachiko wander a cavernous warehouse full of booby-traps to gather resources for the upcoming Cultural Festival. According to Hachiko, a guidebook is needed to navigate it. The Science Club follows them and immediately get lost and end up running for their lives from a giant rolling iron ball. Tenchi and Hachiko also have to run and lose the guidebook.
A summary of episodes 6 to 9
Tenchi tries to negotiate between the Science Club who are begging for funds from the council, who says they are misappropriating the money they have gotten. Ukan tells him teachs can't interfere.
In an episode that heavily references the story of Kibitsuhiko no Mikoto, Tenchi and Momo encounter Inukai Takeru, Sasa Morihiko, and Tome Tamaomi (retainers of the Emperor's prince in the original story), who resemble Hachiko, Touri, and Hana. While Tenchi continues their search, they come along, in search of a monster ravaging the area. They discover and have a short battle with a Ryoko (the monster) that doesn't recognize Tenchi. First Class Detective Mihoshi arrives in a battle suit to arrest her. (In the original story, the prince and the three retainers defeat an Oni).
Tenchi returns to the simple Inn that Tenchi is sharing with Sasami, Ayeka, and Ryoko. They pledge their support in helping Tenchi with his task. Washu sends a box of armor and charms she says he'll need for the job.
Following a tracker hidden on Tenchi, the council interrupts the Science Club and discover the large excavation project under the building. Tenchi protects Momo as a cave-in occurs and they all have to flee.
Tenchi escapes the student council and, while looking for a place to put his clothes back on, finds himself in the old school building and ends up being caught by the president, vice president, and bodyguard of the Science Club, Yuki Fuka, Rui Aoi, and Beni Kinojyou. They also tie, gag, and strip him.
A summary of episodes 1 to 4
In the show's first flashback, Washu explains to Tenchi that two people got caught in a dimensional warp during her experiments and she needs him to return them to their previous location for her. He is sent back in time and quickly "finds" a child Momo and they use his phone to look for her partner.
Momo Kawanagare, the Student Council President, gives Tenchi a tour of the school. The council's Vice President, Treasurer and Auditor Hana Saryu, Touri Fueyama, and Hachiko. The latter three strip, tie, and gag Tenchi and take out torture devices in an effort to "question" him.
Tenchi is lost in the wooded mountain outside Junai Academy and has violent encounters with the main characters of the series there before he is able to arrive. Ukan Kurihara introduces him to the class where he will be the student teacher. All primary characters who are high school student are conveniently members of this single class.
