2007 / TV-Y7Choi Hangyeol is the grandson of Chairwoman Park of Dongin Foods, a company that has a thriving coffee business. He has never had a job and does not care for responsibility. Hangyeol is hung up on his first love, Han Yoojoo, who only sees him as a friend. Go Eunchan is a 24-year-old tomboy who is often mistaken for a guy. Her father died when she was 16 years old and since then she has taken over as the breadwinner in her family. When Hangyeol and Eunchan meet, he, not knowing that she is a girl, decides to hire her to pretend to be his gay lover so that he can escape the blind dates arranged by his grandmother. After getting an ultimatum from his grandmother, Hangyeol takes over a rundown old coffee shop, later renamed "Coffee Prince," to prove that he's capable, to both his grandmother and Yoojoo. In order to attract female customers, he only hires good-looking male employees. Eunchan, desperate for money, continues to hide her gender to get a job at the Coffee Prince.

Eunchan has feelings for Hangyeol's cousin, Choi Hanseong, but then his ex-girlfriend Han Yoojoo returns and says she wants to get back together with him. Hangyeol's grandmother owns a coffee shop, and she forces him to visit it with here, and then she reveals his new assignment.
Go Eunchan supports her family by working two jobs: as a Taekwondo instructor and a food delivery girl. While making a delivery, she meets Choi Hangyeol, the grandson of chairwoman Bang of Dongin Foods, a company that has a thriving coffee business. Hangyeol is a smart young man, but he is fiercely independent and abhors the thought of being tied down by one career in his life. Sporting a short haircut, Eunchan looks like a guy instead of a girl. Meanwhile, Chairwoman Park Soonyoung arranges blind dates for her grandson Hangyeol to see him settle down.
