We delve into the history of one of the most culturally rich and architecturally significant cities in the world: Florence. The city where the renaissance began. In the 15th century Florence became one of the most beautiful cities in the world, a city made sublime by the spirit of the renaissance
Pondicherry located in the region of Tamil Nadu is an exception on Indian territory. Former French colony, the city's culture has been shaped by many influences. Nowadays, 5000 inhabitants have French nationality and a clear inheritance can be seen in architecture, religion and language.
Canton is a legendary commercial trading post located on the Pearl River. For centuries, the city was where China met the West. Jinlun Guild Hall in the Huangpu district has many references to the city's prestigious colonial past. Shamian Island is an oasis of tranquility at the heart of this immense city, it's particularly symbolic of the former French and British presence.
