Professor Balthazar Season 1 Full Episode Guide
Three of the little town's inhabitants are music lovers. The tailor likes to play on his scissors, the street sweeper loves playing on the garbage bin and the glass blower play music with the bottles he make. However, the rest of the city are not equally fond of their music and professor Balthazar invents a flying washing machine and fly them to another planet where the three friends and an alien form a singing and playing quartet.
Suddenly in the the little town there is no wind. The flags are not flying and the kite festival is canceled. And then there is a strange shower of hats, which professor Balthazar loads on a ship and sends of to the kangaroos of Australia. Next there is a peculiar shower of umbrellas, which the professor loads on a plane and sends to the penguins of the South pole. When a load of letters and a postman falls from the sky the mystery is solved: all the wind is blowing in the neighboring city.
On the square of professor Balthazar's town, Victor is selling boiled eggs, eggs à la Victor, with the help of his amazing Eggomat. When the machine breaks down the customers are desperate for a solution. Professor Balthazar discovers that a stranded alien has taken the spring from the Eggomat and all the clocks in the clock towers in an attempt to repair his spaceship.
Professor Balthazar has two friendly neighbors, Mathilde and Clothilde who loves knitting. They knit a sweater for the professor, a sweater with eight arms. Luckily for them, Octavian the octopus, loves the sweater. Professor Balthazar invents a machine that can knit sweaters for every octopus in the ocean.
In the little town, traffic is directed successfully by Hubert the policeman. When he one day gives in to an urge and direct traffic using a party horn instead of a whistle, he loses his job. Professor Balthazar discovers a way for the people of the city to travel to another dimension in pairs where giving in to harmless urges is permissible.
Leo the painter is not very successful since he can only paint one thing: paintings with yellow flowers on a pink background. Nobody really cares about this particular motif until Leo appears on television with his friends the dancing butterflies.
Professor Balthazar's neighbor is Oscar the watchmaker. When the professor's pendulum clock is broken he brings it to Oscar's shop. Inside the clock they find Igor the dancing mouse whose highest dream is to see the Elizabeth tower and the Big Ben in London. Some time later when the professor visits London to lecture on to use fog for peaceful means, the Big Ben breaks down. When the professor and Oscar arrive to the watch tower they once again meet Igor the dancing mouse.
Martin suffers from the fact that people completely ignores him. Professor Balthazar gives him a book on how to succeed; all the pages are blank and Martin must fill the book with advice himself. Martin leaves the city to live on a mountain top with his friend Arthur the eagle.
The little town of professor Balthazar has a famous musician, Koko the elephant, who play music with his trunk. However, his best friend Philip serves him too much ice cream and Koko catches a cold. When he recovers after 14 days, he is unable to play music with his trunk and disappears without a trace. With the help of the professor, Koko is found on the South Pole where he has made friends with the penguins.
Professor Balthazar's friend Fabian the tram driver is a nice fellow who takes care of a hungry and freezing bird in the wintertime. Grateful, the little sparrow teaches Fabian to fly the next spring. However, Fabian loses his job after causing an accident. Professor Balthazar helps his unemployed friend by inventing a flying tram.
When professor Balthazar was a child he had a friend named Horatio. Horatio loved music and became a famous conductor. Unfortunately Horatio is disgraced when he drops his pants in public. Professor Balthazar saves him from a career as a chimney sweeper when he invents elastic suspenders. When Horatio falls off from a chimney, he accidentally invents bungee jumping which becomes a worldwide phenomenon.
Professor Balthazar goes on vacation to the South Sea where his friend Hannibal is a lighthouse keeper. Hannibal loves ice cream, difficult enough to find there. His request for transfer is denied until he can arrange a replacement: Johan the yodeler from the Alps.
Professor Balthazar is an extraordinary inventor who can invent almost any technical gadget. He invents a pair of special shoes for Florian the postman which allows him to walk for miles every day. Leopold the athlete also gets a pair of shoes so he can master the high jump. Albert the fisherman receive a shoe that will help him catch fish. Tony the bird receives a pair of shoes that will keep his feet warm in the winter. In return his friends help him when he must stay at the hospital.
