Mamon Season 1 Full Episode Guide
Petr and Eva travel to a distant mine where Michal is to be handed over by the kidnappers in exchange for documents uncovered by Stella. But when the trade-off goes sideways, Petr is more determined than ever to find the truth behind the Central Energy deaths.
After searching the archives of the prosecutor’s office for documents relating to a similar case at National Mining, Stella decides to meet with a former investigator who warns her to stay away from the case, lest she become its next victim. Petr comes to Eva’s aid when a kidnapper demands an exorbitant ransom for Michal’s return.
The Kontext’s article exposing a secret agreement between Toman, Zpevacek and Minister of Finance Horvath causes a scandal. Searching for the truth about his father, Michal questions his grandfather and travels to Budapest, where his father attended university. In the meantime, Petr’s meeting with the person behind the mysterious video ends in tragedy.
Petr and Marie closely watch two firms looking to buy a stake in Central Energy, including an American company represented by eccentric millionaire Karel Zpevacek. Meanwhile, Stella and Petr try to determine the origin of a grainy video of an arson attack, leading Petr to a charity auction attended by Zpevacek – and to his next clue.
Six months later, Petr, still feeling responsible for the events surrounding his brother, has relegated himself to the newspaper’s lifestyle section, far removed from the ongoing investigation into Central Energy. Despite his efforts, Petr is drawn back into the case when Central Energy’s new CEO gives him a promising lead.
Investigative journalist Petr Vlcek is contacted by an anonymous source who provides information about a bribe that changed hands during a privatization deal at Central Energy. Though the main suspect is his brother Daniel, Central Energy’s CEO, Petr boldly purses the story, as public pressure forces Daniel to resign.
