T. and T. is a Canadian-produced television series, in production from 1987 to 1990. The series premiered in first-run syndication in January 1988, later moving to new episodes on the Family Channel in 1990. It was a starring vehicle for Mr. T, after the cancellation of The A-Team in 1986. The series’ theme song was performed by Merry Clayton. The opening voice-over set-up the premise:

A stranger shows up at Decker's gym claiming to be a musician of some renown from the past. Decker helps him prove his chops by believing in him when no one else will.
A young woman who is the victim of an assault changes her testimony during her trial and the judge has no choice but to dismiss the charges against her assailant. Terri seeks to discover the reason she changed her story.
An immigrant is haunted by his past and hounded by the authorities. Turner and company must decide who is in the right.
Terri's ex-boyfriend nearly has everyone hoodwinked into investing in his latest scam. She unveils his past indiscretions in order to protect her friends.
Turner protects a deaf boy who is a key witness in a case involving police malfeasance.
A plot to disrupt a wrestling event and harm the wrestlers is uncovered by Turner. The culprit must confess in the ring or face a no-holds-barred reprisal.
The mob doesn't care for a young comedian's brand of humor and want him to take five---six feet under. The comic turns to Turner for protection.
Decker's ex-wife seeks his help and protection when she discovers unsavory characters are after her. Then he sets out to learn exactly why she is a target and enlists the help of the police.
A student filmmaker inadvertently records a crime. She and Turner become involved after she shows him the tape.
A troubled youth is thrown out of a halfway house and could face jail, but he won't help his own cause because he distrusts adults. Terri represents the young man and tries to get to the truth of the matter.
Tension mounts between police and teens after a retired cop injures a tormentor. Then Turner steps into the fray, on the side of the accused kid, in order to learn the truth about the incident.
After a police raid fails to curtail a crack house's business, residents are inspired to clean up their neighborhood. Turner gets involved to help a friend and ends up in the line of fire.
