Eat St. is a Canadian reality television series produced by Paperny Entertainment that airs on Food Network Canada and Cooking Channel. Hosted by Canadian comedian James Cunningham, the show tours North America in search of the most inventive meals served from food trucks. To accompany the series, an Eat St. App was developed that uses GPS to track street fare near the user. The series, which premiered April 6, 2011, has filmed in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, as well as a number of cities in the United States. The show will be airing its fourth season in 2013.

Episode 13 - Rotisserie Rumble

Things get rolling at Roli Roti, a mobile truck in San Francisco, California with a built in chicken and pork rotisserie, which serves up succulent sandwiches topped with “ crispy skin.” For meatballs with an international appeal, folks flock to Great Balls on Tires in Los Angeles, California. Next we head to Rebel Heroes, a mobile truck in Washington, DC which serves Vietnamese-Cuban inspired banh mi sandwiches by a mom and daughter team. And in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, La Dominique Creperie is a mobile cart serving sweet and savory French-style, thin battered crepes – with an artist’ s touch.

Episode 12 - Heavy Metal Grill

For gourmet burgers and a side of heavy metal, Eat St. heads to Grill ‘ Em All, a rockin’ mobile trailer in Los Angeles, California. Over in Austin, Texas, The Mighty Cone trailer fills tortilla cones with crispy chicken, deep fried avocado, crispy shrimps – or a combo of your choice! Next, Chef William Pilz is on a mission to take his modern and refined Filipino cuisine into the mainstream with Hapa, his mobile food truck in San Francisco. And finally, with deep-rooted history in Miami, Florida’ s seafood and restaurant industry, it is no surprise that the Fish Box mobile truck, serving Cuban-style seafood dishes and seafood sandwiches, is such a “ rolling” success.

Episode 11 - Bacon Jam Bonanaza

Using local and sustainably sourced ingredients, Garden State Cart in Portland, Oregon serves East Coast-Sicilian fare such as their Meatball Hero Sandwich (on East Coast- style hoagie bread), and their popular vegetarian chickpea fritter sandwich. Led by Chef Joshua Henderson, Skillet Street Food in Seattle, Washington, is a pioneer in mobile gourmet trailers, serving dishes such as sockeye salmon with succotash, and their famous gourmet burger with homemade bacon jam. For a personalized falafel sandwich, Eat St. heads to Liba Falafel, a mobile food truck with a built in condiment bar in San Francisco, California which is known for beginning “ falafel affairs.” And finally, in Houston, Texas, Oh My! Pocket Pies mobile truck serves empanada style pocket pies with comfort fillings such as chicken chile relleno.

Episode 10 - Classics With a Twist
First Aired: June. 21,2011

First up is gourmet street meat with the Japadog cart in Vancouver, B.C. where you’ ll find a lot more than your average hot dog. Next, things heat up in Miami, Florida at the Rolling Stove, a mobile truck that focuses on hot and spicy meals like jerk chicken. For authentic Scottish style fish and chips, it is off to the Frying Scotsman in Portland, Oregon. And things cool off at Coolhaus, a converted postal van in Los Angeles, California, serving architecturally inspired ice cream sandwiches, named after famous architects.

Episode 9 - Pierogies to Pizza
First Aired: June. 14,2011

In Hoboken, New Jersey, Stefania’s Pierogi Truck – named after the owner’s 86 year old grandmother – is serving up traditional Polish dishes by Granny herself. Next, viewers find out how Veraci Pizza in Seattle, Washington bakes gourmet thin crust pizzas in less than 90 seconds in its mobile wood burning pull-cart oven. Then, for a helping of Colombian style sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs, Eat St. heads to the Yellow Submarine in Miami, Florida. And finally, For Mexican-West Coast fusion cuisine, it is off to TacoFino Cantina on the wild west coast in Tofino, British Columbia.

Episode 8 - Barbeque This!
First Aired: May. 31,2011

The host samples Mexican favorites with a Korean twist at the Chi'Lantro BBQ taco truck in Austin, and Asian-inspired fare at the Silk Road BBQ kiosk in Boston. Also: fine French cuisine is served at San Francisco's Spencer on the Go; and gourmet soups and sandwiches are the specialty at Oregon's Portland Soup Co. cart.

Episode 7 - Gone Fishin'
First Aired: May. 24,2011

A trip to Red Fish Blue Fish, a retrofitted shipping container in Victoria, British Columbia’s Inner Harbor serves a variety of local and fresh seafood dishes such as their famous Tacones (taco-cones) filled with deep-fried oysters, BBQ scallops, and battered fish. Next, acclaimed chef Iliana de la Vega serves up authentic Oaxacan cuisine at her El Naranjo mobile trailer in Austin, Texas. Later, coined the best street food by “Good Morning America,” Marination Mobile in Seattle, Washington, is a food truck serving Korean-Hawaiian inspired dishes such as the kimchi rice bowl with a fried egg on top. Awarded the Vendy’s People’s Choice Award, the Biryani cart is one of New York City’s street food vendor icons that serves authentic Indian-Mediterranean food out of a sidewalk cart that is not much bigger than a phone booth. New Yorkers swarm here for their famous kati roll, an Indian-style burrito filled with spicy chicken tikka.

Episode 6 - Surf and a Slice
First Aired: May. 17,2011

The Big Egg in Portland, Oregon is a stationary breakfast cart, serving sweet and savory egg sandwiches. Customers can kick-start their day with a Monte Cristo - one egg any style, grilled black forest ham and gorgonzola, drizzled with pure maple glaze and stacked between two pieces of crunchy vanilla cardamom brioche French toast. The next stop is DC Slices, Washington, D.C.’s first mobile pizza truck where the servings will have you seeing doubles. Then, a trip to Hewtin’s Dog in Providence, Rhode Island has customers rolling over for its house-made gourmet sausages. Finally, Ed’s Lobster kiosk in New York City serves some of the most extravagant street food, in the heart of the financial district, with its pricey yet delicious lobster rolls.

Episode 5 - Pasta With Attitude
First Aired: May. 10,2011

James checks out Vito's Lotsa Pasta Truck in Hoboken, N.J., where build-your-own pasta dishes are made to order. Also visited: the World Fare Bustaurant, a mobile double-decker bus that serves South African meals in Los Angeles; and Vancouver's Roaming Dragon food truck, which dishes up Pan-Asian fare with a West Coast twist.

Episode 4 - Pounds of Pulled Pork
First Aired: May. 03,2011

Maximus Minimus is Seattle, Washington’s most recognizable pig truck. This giant chrome hog-shaped van with a built in snout and sunglasses is famous for its pulled pork sandwiches. From the spicy Maximus to the sweet and tangy Minimus, devoted fans are pigging-out. The next stop is the chef-run, Feastro-Rolling Bistro in the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, where fresh local seafood such as their famous banzai prawns keep customers hooked. Later viewers check out Lucky J’s mobile trailer in Austin, Texas for Southern style fried chicken and waffles. The last stop is at Chairman Bao in San Francisco, California. This technologically advanced truck serves steamed and baked Asian buns with delicate, exotic filings – and one of the longest lunch lines in San Francisco.

Episode 3 - French Fry Extravaganza
First Aired: April. 20,2011

This episode begins at the Frysmith Truck in Los Angeles where viewers get a heaping serving of crispy Belgian style fries with toppings like kimchi with Kurobuta pork belly and cheddar cheese. Then it is off to Portland, Oregon to visit Crème de la Crème - a mobile converted school bus, serving classic French cuisine, such as escargot and French onion tart, baked fresh inside the bus. Things sweeten up at the Sugar Philly Truck in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where classic desserts like crème brûlée are served to the university student crowd. The final stop is at Fusion Taco in Houston, Texas where customers get a worldly helping of ethnically inspired tacos including Korean-Mexican, Indian-Mexican and Middle Eastern-Mexican.

Episode 2 - Gut Busting Brunch
First Aired: April. 13,2011

At the Brunch Box, a stationary cart in Portland, Oregon, outrageous items line the menu, like the Redonkadonk, a massive burger all dressed with a fried egg, spam, ham, turkey and bacon stuffed between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Nothing screams innovative dessert like curry coconut flakes or crushed wasabi peas over soft-serve ice cream from the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck in New York City. Their specialty is the Salty Pimp - vanilla soft serve ice cream drizzled with dulce de leche, sprinkled with rock salt, and dipped in melted chocolate! Next stop is Sâuçá, a mobile food truck in Washington, D.C. with world-fare cuisine served in flatbread. Dishes include Bombay-style butter chicken and Buffalo chicken served, of course, with your choice of specialty house-made sauces. In Seattle, Washington, Where Ya At mobile truck serves dishes New Orleans style with chicken and Andouille sausage gumbo – all created and served by charismatic New Orleans-expat, Chef Matthew Lewis.

Episode 1 - Grilled Cheese Heaven
First Aired: April. 06,2011

The first stop on "Eat St." is Los Angeles, California to visit the traffic-stopping Grilled Cheese Truck. This popular mobile truck with an avid online following, serves gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, such as the Cheesy Mac’n’Rib. Next up is Austin, Texas to visit Izzoz Tacos, a 42 foot stationary trailer that prides itself on family tradition and using fresh ingredients. Things heat up when viewers then venture to G’Raj Mahal, an eclectic and artsy stationary trailer in Austin, Texas that serves authentic Goan dishes. Eyes water as folks try the spicy Rechard Masala Shrimp dish or naan freshly baked in a tandoor oven that is built right into the trailer. The final stop is New York City for some schnitzel with an attitude at Schnitzel & Things. This mobile food truck, operated by a former Wall Street investment banker, serves authentic Austrian schnitzel platters, sandwiches and side salads.
