MLB Network Presents Season 3 Full Episode Guide

Episode 6 - The Dynasty that Almost Was
First Aired: July. 10,2017

The 1990s Indians inspired great pride, but also great pain. They were quite a team for a time but not quite the team of their time. They were fearless, flamboyant, fantastic -- six division titles in seven years, two American League pennants, a then-record 455 straight sellouts. In a beautiful new ballpark, in a city longing for sporting success with the Browns having bounced for Baltimore, those Indians teams won hearts ... but no World Series titles. The film is narrated by Corbin Bernsen -- star of the movie "Major League," which until the 1990s Indians came along was, sadly, as close as the franchise had gotten to the postseason for many decades. And just as you didn't have to be a Cleveland fan to appreciate "Major League," you don't have to be one to appreciate this compelling look at a team that came up short in the World Series, but not in the realm of entertainment and intrigue.

Episode 5 - The Impossible Dream: Red Sox Nation Begins
First Aired: July. 09,2017

Long before the likes of Big Papi, Pedro, Manny and even before the heartbreak of Buckner and the indelible image of Fisk waving the ball fair, Red Sox Nation as we know it began 50 years ago with the Impossible Dream of 1967.

Episode 2 - The Swingin' A's
First Aired: February. 07,2017

Chronicling owner Charlie Finley's "Mustache Gang" Oakland A's dynasty of the early 1970s, which had players such as Rollie Fingers, Gene Tenace and Reggie Jackson leading the way to three straight titles. Narrated by MC Hammer, a former A's employee.

Episode 1 - Jim Leyland: A Life in Baseball
First Aired: January. 31,2017

Chronicling former Pirates, Marlins, Rockies and Tigers manager Jim Leyland, from his upbringing in Perrysburg, Ohio, to his lengthy coaching career. Tony LaRussa, Gene Lamont and Dave Dombrowski are among those interviewed.
