Manócska teaches Mazsola to be more lenient with the little ones, then goes shopping. Raisins, meanwhile, find a toy in which a few pumpkins are preyed on and then encourages Tádé to take responsibility.
Manócska bakes quince cheese, and while the cheese cools, everyone is given the task: Raisins break the snow out of the house, and Tádé puts it in order. Raisins are constantly reminded of how much snow they hurt and how tired they are, and even insist that the evening tale is about a diligent little pig.
Manócska sews a new cloak for Mazsola, the old one is inherited by Tádé. In the big game, Raisins doesn't want to try, Tádé goes instead, so the beautiful cloak will be his. Raisins are flooded with envy while playing outside and he pays attention to the new cloak.
Uncle Crow brings tribute to the Manócska family for the Scarecrow Afternoon. After much deliberation, Raisins generously offers to let Tádé go - and he accompanies him. He hopes that if Tádé tells the lecture, it will be almost as if he was there too.
According to Uncle Crow, Raisins is the ideal of Tádé, as the little guinea pig looks up at him and learns from him. Raisins are terribly proud and try to teach Tade everything she can think of. It will soon be clear whether Raisins are really an example to follow in everything.
