As a blizzard bears down on the Pioneer yard, Ryan races to finish a Tiki bar commission, while Mark and Pete try to get a grip on their most unusual carving yet.
Pioneer boss Bryan Sr. assigns Paul and Pete their most important job yet – a memorial carving for a friend of Bryan’s. Meanwhile, Mark helps Ryan carve out a deal for a new truck.
Mark is assigned a huge bed commission, despite having never carved a bed before. Ryan introduces Little Man to ice carving on what turns out to be a monster of a job.
Pete and Ryan go toe to toe on carving a mountain lion family, while the unique challenge of carving the torch for the Canada Winter Games has Mark almost breathing fire.
Ryan’s assigned a giant eagle carving and hatches a plan to enlist Pete for his animal expertise, but gets more than he bargained for. Bryan Sr. asks his grandson to produce a carving for a relative’s store.
The fur starts to fly when Pete and Mark don’t see eye to eye on a bear carving’s facial expression. Ryan teaches the junior carvers how to make a quick buck by producing quick-carvings for a craft fair.
