Tom Sandoval returns to Los Angeles just in time for his birthday. His plans hit a snag, however, when Ariana learns he wants to throw a party in their shared home. Scheana attempts to reinvigorate her music career, but must first work through her anxiety about leaving Summer Moon with a nanny. Schwartz confronts Sandoval for abandoning him to deal with their business alone.
Schwartz hatches a half-baked scheme to bring the gang back together, but Ariana sets firm boundaries with everyone regarding her ex-boyfriend’s place in the group. Katie and Scheana make a promise to prioritize their friendship. A shocking admission shakes Lisa Vanderpump to the core. When Tom Sandoval dares to show up at See You Next Tuesday, he and Scheana square off about who’s to blame for their current rift.
James and Ally throw their first pool party in their new house, and the invite list includes everyone but Tom Sandoval. Lisa Vanderpump gives Scheana and Lala advice on how to handle a broken friendship. Schwartz gets a haircut from his not-girlfriend, Jo. A face from the past makes an unexpected return, promising to throw a wrench into the group dynamic.
Schwartz makes a startling revelation to Lala about a past hookup that sends Katie spiraling. James hosts a DJ night at Hotel Ziggy, but when Schwartz brings non-girlfriend Jo, the other girls give her the cold shoulder. Ariana and Katie encounter new issues in opening their sandwich shop. Brock drops a bombshell about a more recent liaison that shocks the entire group.
After a disastrous fight at the beach, Ariana finally breaks down over the end of her relationship with Tom. Katie and Schwartz vie for the affections of the same woman. Just when it seems the group is on the road to healing, a podcast rehashing the past sends everyone spiraling. Scheana turns her pain into lyrics by releasing a new song. Lala takes the next step toward expanding her family. Ally and James have a tough conversation about the next steps in their relationship. When everyone comes together to celebrate TomTom’s first brunch service, Scheana and Sandoval clash over a perceived betrayal.
