As Dogtanian continues his long journey to Paris he's soaked by a passing coach. He catches up to the coach and complains angrily to the driver when Julliette comes out and dries him off with her handkerchief. Juliette then tells Dogtanian he's on the outskirts of Paris...
Dogtanian wakes from a dream about Juliette to the slightly less attractive sight of her uncle. Juliette's Uncle tells Dogtanian he can stay in their house as long as he wants and that Juliette is a lady-in-waiting for the Queen. Their conversation is interrupted by the sound of a fight outside, they run out to see (a slightly drunk) Athos fighting a gang of the Cardinal's Guards without drawing his sword...
Dogtanian has gone to see Monsieur Treville to join the Musketeers. When he arrives Widimer and some guards are about to arrest Aramis and Athos for drawing their swords against some of the guards. Treville comes down and sorts the problem pointing out both sides drew their swords, making it a duel, so both parties should be arrested. Before leaving Widimer spots Dogtanian and orders the guards to arrest him, a farcical chase follows, ending with Dogtanian jumping on a coach that takes him back to the Musketeers headquarters...
Juliette is still missing and her uncle has inadvertently revealed there is something in her room.
