Fishtank
2023Fishtank is an episodic reality competition web series created by Sam Hyde and Jet Neptune. During the initial run of the season the events are live-streamed 24/7, allowing viewers to interact with contestants and the house they reside at in real time. Taking place over 42 days (or 6 weeks), Fishtank confines a number of contestants in a house and forces them to compete in a game of non-stop humiliation and manipulation. This game results in exits, ejections, and eliminations until only the winner remains and takes home the grand prize.
Seasons & Episode
In episode one, we meet the eight brave souls who dared enter the fishtank, as well as their mysterious host Jason Goldstriker. First impressions count.
In episode two awkward introductions are made and tensions are immediately flare between the fish just days after moving in.
In episode three, the fishtank loses its first contestant under strange circumstances. The house is heating up.
In episode four, a strange new challenge is given to the fish, still reeling from the sudden shocking elimination of Simmons. Insanity is rising, and someone won't be able to take it any more.
In episode five, the house becomes flooded with a new type of pest: the freeloader. Freeloaders are not eligible to win the grand prize, but they can take up resources and win a cut of the house's scarce fishbucks. Egos bruise, fights erupt, and someone is going home.
In episode six, a new freeloader arrives to make turn up the heat in the tank. Thankfully for the fish, the camping challenge is behind them and by the end of this there will be far less freeloaders around to take up space.
In episode seven Act III begins and Chris gets a little too comfortable in the tank... Tensions reach an all time high.
In episode eight there are only ten days remaining and the tank is boiling over.
Three become two..
The final two face off in a return to "The Cell". The end of Fishtank.. for now.
