With a half a million-dollar budget, this deck spares no expense. But the tight 12-week deadline puts a ton of stress on everyone, especially with features like an elevator, mahogany decking, three skylights, and glass walls.
The team tears down a dilapidated deck to make room for a $200,000 rustic retreat, but when an engineer nixes part of the design, the crew has to think quickly on their feet.
The team works to install four fire features on a tiny, cramped deck, but a detailed concrete pour proves challenging and less-than-ideal soil conditions are an unwelcome surprise.
