The Merseysiders, favourites for a seventh Cup win, have a slight psychological advantage, having recently beaten their opponents in the league when Luis Garcia and Hayden Mullins were sent off. Three-time winners West Ham are through to their first final since 1980, but they know how to win in Cardiff - 12 months ago they clinched promotion in the Championship play-off final.
