Singers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill serve as key advisers as the artists prepare for the Knockout Rounds; contestants will be paired against teammates and select a song to perform for the coaches.
On the second night of knockouts, three pairs of artists perform for the chance to make it to the live shows. Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus are joined by two superstar advisors: Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.
For the first time in Voice history, the coaches enlist not one, but two Grammy Award-winning artists and country music sensations Tim McGraw and Faith Hill to serve as a key advisers and be on hand to work with all of the coaches and their teams as they prepare the artists for the Knockout Rounds. The Knockout Rounds begin with coaches Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton's strongest team members remaining from the battle rounds. The artists will be paired against a teammate once more, but this time they will each select their own song to perform individually, while their direct competitor watches and waits. The coaches alone will choose the winner from their team to move on to the live shows and the artist not selected will be available to be stolen by another coach.
On the third night of battles, 18 artists bring their A game to another round of stunning vocal showdowns - but only some will continue on in the hopes of winning the overall competition.
On the second night of the battle rounds, 12 artists pull out all the stops in the hopes of keeping their spots in the competition or being stolen by a new coach. Some stay, and some are eliminated...
On the first night of battles, artists go head-to-head and deliver their most powerful performances yet in the hopes of securing a spot in the next phase of the competition. And those who don't win might get stolen.
The battle rounds begin and the coaches enlist the help of the music industry's top recording artists to offer their knowledge and skills as advisers. Miley Cyrus teams up with Joan Jett, Alicia Keys with Charlie Puth, Adam Levine with Sammy Hagar, and Blake Shelton with Bette Midler. In this phase, the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other in a dueling duet. After the vocal face-off, each coach must choose which artist from their team is the strongest, and has the option of stealing losing artists from an opposing coach. Each coach has two steals during the battle rounds where their artists will proceed to the knockout rounds.
