2000Big Brother 2005, also known as Big Brother 6, was the sixth series of the British reality television series Big Brother, in which a number of contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize at the end of the run. The series launched on Channel 4 on 27 May 2005 and ended on 12 August 2005, lasting eleven weeks, at the time the longest the programme had lasted, Davina McCall returned as host for her sixth consecutive year. Thirteen housemates entered on launch night with an additional three being introduced in Week 4, this was the first series where late entry housemates survived public votes and made it to the final. Anthony Hutton was chosen as the winner on Day 78, receiving £50,000, Eugene Sully who finished second received the other half of the prize money due to a task on Day 76. Makosi and Craig returned in 2009 to compete in a task for a few hours, in 2010 Makosi was a contestant in Ultimate Big Brother. She entered on Day 1 and became the second Ultimate housemate to be evicted on Day 11. Anthony also returned as a guest to have a picnic date with Makosi. The Big Brother eye for this series was also used for the Serbian Big Brother series, Veliki brat.

The holiday task continues, including a fashion show that reveals just a little too much of some Housemates. Meanwhile, drama ensues, as Makosi asks Big Brother for a pregnancy test.
Anthony and Makosi deal with the fallout of the previous night’s antics. Later, the weekly shopping task is revealed to the Housemates, as they are divided into holiday reps and holiday makers.
The Housemates take part in an emotional task; and a plane banner causes excitement and curiosity in the House. Later, emotions run high with Craig and Maxwell; and Anthony and Makosi have a wild night in the pool.
The Housemates react to Saskia’s harsh reception with the crowd, and Maxwell deals with her eviction.
In the second part of Day 35, the Housemates perform their ballet. Then, Maxwell and Saskia's time in the House together comes to an end, as one of them is evicted and interviewed, live.
In the first part of Day 35, Maxwell and Saskia's final full day in the house is anything but harmonious, as Kemal and Vanessa both vent their anger at the couple.
Housemates are set the task of performing Romeo and Juliet: The Ballet. Rehearsals create flirtation between some, animosity between others. Later, Maxwell and Saskia have a late night clash with Kemal.
Eugene and Orlaith settle into the main House, and the Housemates get to know them a bit more. Meanwhile, the results of this week’s nominations leave some Housemates reeling.
The morning after an intense argument, nominations begin – but two rule-breakers are banned from the process. Later, the Secret Garden is dramatically revealed to the Housemates, and Makosi must make a difficult choice.
Makosi continues her mission to provide for the Secret Garden. When these provisions include alcohol, the unwitting Housemates in the main House descend on Makosi. Cidergate begins – game on!
A mysterious new installation arrives in the House – a button with the labels “Don’t Press This Button” and “Press Here”. Will it be pressed? Who’ll press it? And what’ll happen to them? Later, Big Brother cautions Maxwell.
Roberto becomes the latest evictee. Then, newbies Kinga, Eugene and Orlaith quietly enter their new home – the Secret Garden to the left of the Diary Room. Later, Maxwell suggests he may have played a rather disgusting prank.
As well as interviewing the latest evictee, Davina introduces the latest twist: a Secret Garden adjacent to the main House, where three brand new people will be living in secret! The newbies enter the Secret Garden, live.
In the highlights, tempers are raised in the House. Housemates begin to notice a clear divide in the House, and speculate on what may be causing it. Then, Davina reveals the results of the fourth public vote, live.
Maxwell learns the truth about the Workhouse task; the Housemates compile their weekly shopping list; Vanessa gets given a harsh punishment; and Derek undertakes a secret mission to earn some cigars and wine.
It’s the final day of the Workhouse task. Will a drunken Makosi give the game away to Maxwell? Later, nomination results are revealed; and Maxwell does not take kindly at all to Science taking his wine.
Day 2 of the Workhouse task sees Maxwell sorting nuts and bolts, while the rest of the House are treated to a spa day. Later, the fourth round of nominations begins.
Housemates are given their third weekly shopping task in the Big Brother Workhouse. One unlucky Housemate does all the grunt work, unaware that all the other Housemates get to play!
Housemates become chickens for the day, hoping to earn a special reward. Later, Maxwell's shopping substitutes causes friction. Featuring psychological analysis of the Housemates’ behaviour.
Science takes on a secret mission to win himself some toilet roll. Later, he has an argument with Roberto over dining habits. Meanwhile, certain Housemates continue to grow very close; and Kemal suffers a late night prank.
The third Housemate to be evicted leaves the House, and is interviewed live by Davina.
In the highlights, Maxwell makes some last minute changes to the shopping list; and the Housemates speculate over who might be evicted from the house. Then, Davina reveals the results of this week's public vote, live.
The disastrous Pirate task reaches its equally disastrous conclusion. Later, Science is issued with a formal warning, following his recent behaviour; and the Big Brother's Love Loft sees Housemates speed-date each other.
Captain Science faces a mutiny from the other Housemates, as he begins winding almost everybody up; nomination results are revealed; and a series of Housemates are reprimanded after a spate of recent rule-breaking.
The Housemates embark on the Pirate task. Later, the third round of nominations take place, but three rule-breakers are about to be outed in dramatic fashion to the rest of the House…
The Box task comes to an end, and the winners reap their rewards.

The Housemates learn the results of the Hospital task. When the latest evictee leaves, the group listens to the hostile reception from the audience. Later, yet another injury is sustained by a different Housemate.
The second Housemate to be evicted leaves the House, and is interviewed live by Davina.
n the highlights, Saskia is taken to hospital to have her injury examined; Craig gives birth (!?); and an argument between Maxwell and Roberto gets…messy. Later, Davina announces the result of the second public vote, live.
One Housemate gets reprimanded over threatening language; one Housemate ironically sustains a real injury during the Hospital task; two Housemates have a streak in the garden; and one Housemate snaps at another over cooking.
The consequence for the previous day's rule-break is announced to the Housemates. Meanwhile, the Big Brother Hospital task begins. Later, Sam tries to put on a show for her Housemates, with hilarious consequences.
The second round of nominations takes place, but one Housemate breaks a fundamental rule. Meanwhile, the relationship between Lesley and Sam deteriorates, and Saskia dishes out a punishment as Big Brother.
There is still tension in the air following the previous night's incident. Meanwhile, the winner of the counting task is given a secret mission.
The Housemates embark on a counting task. Later, another fun water fights suddenly takes a very dramatic turn. Featuring psychological analysis of the Housemates’ behaviour.
