Oliver Beene is an American sitcom. Set in 1962 and 1963, the show chronicled the trials and tribulations of the 11-to-12-year-old Oliver Beene, in first person perspective. Oliver Beene's other main characters are his parents Jerry and Charlotte Beene, his brother Ted Beene, and his two friends Joyce and Michael. The narrator, an older Oliver reflecting on his experience, is voiced by David Cross. Often in episodes, the story is interrupted by flashbacks and flash-forwards.

Desperate for some family time, Charlotte takes her family to the Catskills. Jerry tries his hand at male bonding.
Oliver tries out for the annual talent show in hopes of getting Bonnie and the rest of his class to like him. Jerry gives Charlotte an unusual fifteenth anniversary present.
Ted's friend's manly dad makes Jerry insecure.
Oliver seeks advice from Ted when he is invited to his first make-out party. Charlotte wants to run for President of the Tenants Association.
Oliver forms his own band in order to impress Joyce, Jerry asks Charlotte to fill in for his assistant April.
Jerry wants to out do his neighbors by having a famous comedian entertaining the Beenes' party guests .
Oliver is sent to the lowest level of his school's grades as a punishment from Mrs. Heller and must try to figure out how to get back to Level One without taking the Iowa test, Meanwhile, Jerry tries to sell his latest invention The Disposa Toothbrush.
Oliver makes a door knocker that Mr. Stitt doesn't like. Charlotte gets help from the building super intendant on how to beat Mr. Stitt.
Oliver orders x-ray glasses from a comic book and finds that they don't work. So Oliver decides to revenge on Astounding Novelties. On her way to see the President Charlotte talks to Connie about her boyfriend leaving Jerry to think Charlotte would kick the President.
Oliver wants to be a man so he goes along with his dad. Meanwhile, Charlotte feels left out and spends the day with Joyce hoping to know her better.
On a school field trip Oliver loses his lunch due to the bus hitting a bump and spills on his lap with everyone thinking he's thrown up on himself.
Oliver falls in love with his new neighbor Elke. Meanwhile, Oliver's parents try to spice-up there marriage by going on a date to an old club.
