The Supervet: Noel Fitzpatrick Season 2 Full Episode Guide
Noel Fitzpatrick treats Labrador Fieval, who needs a hip replacement on both sides, and the programme catches up with some of the pets and owners who benefited from the surgery's pioneering techniques and inventions over the past year, including Labrador cross Scooby, who lost a leg in his fight against cancer, Jasper the puppy, whose legs were so deformed he needed two operations, and Pixie the cat, who gained a bionic limb to help her survive.
Two-year-old Labrador Ira is fitted with a bionic spine, while anxious owner Rob brings in eight-year-old French bulldog Tom, who has a long list of chronic ailments. Matt and Rebecca arrive at the clinic with their three-year-old cat Marley, who may need to have a leg amputated.
Noel Fitzpatrick and the team deal with two emergency cases in this edition. Lara the cat went missing after jumping into a removal van, but escaped, only to be hit by a car and then attacked by a fox. One of its rear legs is shattered and the vet has to perform reconstructive surgery to rebuild it. Chief, an eight-year-old Northern Inuit, dislocated its hip while chasing a fox. Noel thinks it needs hip-replacement surgery, but owner Nigel can't afford to pay for the operation.
A dachshund is brought in by owners Kelly and Daniel to see if anything can be done to repair a deformity in its foot, and Noel Fitzpatrick gives the one-year-old a lesson in doggy discipline along the way. A 10-month-old labrador needs a hip replacement before it can begin training as a medical-alert dog to help its owner with her rare health condition. An eight-year-old shih-tzu has the most extraordinary walk the vet has ever seen, but the operation to fix the dog's spine will be extremely risky, presenting the owners with an agonising decision.
Schrodinger the cat is brought in with a shattered thighbone after being hit by a car and Noel Fitzpatrick prepares to fuse the broken pieces back together in an all-night operation. English bulldog Lois is put on a strict diet and given an exercise regimen, and an elderly springer spaniel called Flossie, who has lost control of her back legs, arrives at the clinic.
