Episode 6 - Episode 6

Paul meets more dogs struggling to find a home, including a golden retriever with an incontinence problem and a boisterous border collie with a bad hip - who needs Paul's help in the hydrotherapy centre. He also calls in on a tiny pregnant mongrel, and spends time with an OAP Patterdale who just needs a bit of company in her twilight years.

The comedian follows the work of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London, meeting staff involved in treating, training and rehoming animals. This time, Paul meets a pair of shih tzus from a puppy farm that need to learn all about domestic life, and an American bulldog struggling to cope without its owner. Later, he is introduced to a stray that has been living at Battersea for two years.

This time, Paul helps staff train a lively beagle cross puppy, before spending the day keeping a bichon company that is used to living in a busy home. Later, he helps a shell-shocked elderly staffy who was left tied to the gates, and subsequently gets caught up in an outbreak of parvo virus which all the Battersea staff battle to contain.

The comedian follows the work of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London, meeting staff involved in treating, training and rehoming animals. This time, Paul meets an energetic Staffie cross who needs help calming down in kennels, falls in love with a rare West African dog called an Azawakh, and coaxes an overbred bulldog to come out of its shell.

Episode 1 - Back in Business

In episode one, Paul meets two Maltese Terrier puppies who staff suspect may have come from a puppy farm in Romania, having been sold to a family in the UK for an eye-watering £4000. They were brought into Battersea after the family struggled to cope with looking after them. Paul also meets a three-month-old Spaniel-cross who was taken to the Brands Hatch branch of Battersea by his owners. He is covered head-to-toe in mites and staff believe he might also be the result of puppy farming.
