In the aftermath of Christmas, Phil finds it hard to keep Kathy and Nadia apart. Sanjay finds himself looking for a babysitter and Pauline has some news.
It's the day after Christmas but for some the festive spirit is thin on the ground. Away from the Square, Mandy and Aidan are forced to face the truth. Gita has some news for Sanjay and Phil is increasingly troubled about Nadia.
The Fowlers are determined not to rise to the Chapman's bait. Phil is late for Kathy's party, and Mandy and Aidan are left out in the cold.
Aidan's troubles seem to be getting to him. Nadia attempts to get Phil's attention. Frank doesn't appreciate Pat's attempts to solve their financial problems. Pete is laid to rest, but it seems not everyone wants it that way.
The Fowlers pull together over the arrangements for Pete's funeral.
Pat decides to take matters into her own hands and Frank is, naturally, less than pleased. Phil and Kathy agree to spend Christmas away together, but a surprise visit from someone scuppers their plans.
Ian steps in to help Arthur and Pauline. Pat discovers Frank has gone behind her back.
While preparations get under way at the Vic for a homecoming, Frank comes to a decision about the cab company and Ian has some good news for Kathy.
