Coke Studio Season 5
Coke Studio is a Pakistani music television series which features live studio music performances by various artists, started in June 2008, originating from the Brazilian show, Estúdio Coca-Cola. The show is produced by Coca-Cola Company and Strings Band. Coke Studio has been popular, receiving critical acclaim and frequently being rebroadcast on television and radio in Pakistan.

2008 / TV-14Coke Studio returned for its fifth series on 13 May 2012. Rohail Hyatt and Umber Hyatt continued as producers of the show. Among the houseband, Louis 'Gumby' Pinto left the show due to his being the executive producer of the show Uth Records by Ufone. Jaffer Ali Zaidi also left the show and was replaced by Mubashir Admani. Raheel Manzar Paul and Zulfiq 'Shazee' Ahmed Khan also left the show. Farhad Humuyun was recruited as the new drummer for the fifth series.

Bohemia is the very first rap artist to feature at Coke Studio. Hadiqa Kiani performed a rendition of Sufi poetry by Bulleh Shah. Hamayoon Khan covered a famous Pushto folk song fusing it with pop music. Atif Aslam and Qayaas performed a cover version of Charkha Nolakha, originally sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
