The Canadian Angle Season 1 Full Episode Guide
Any avid angler has lost their fair share of fishing tackle to the bottom of the lake. In this episode Jay Siemens and Scott Green take a dive to the bottom of Lake Of The Woods in search of treasure - aka lost lures. Later Jay heads out on the lake to give these lures a second chance in search of Walleye, Bass, Pike, and Musky.
In this episode, Jay Siemens heads South of the border to meet up with Big Bass Guru Oliver Ngy. Together, they fish some small inland lakes in central Wisconsin and chat about everything big bass. They compare fishing tales from their home waters and try to put some big Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass in the boat.
The Canadian Shield is checkered with thousands of lakes, many of which rarely get fished. In this episode Jay Siemens is dropped off by float plane to one of these many remote gems. With no prior knowledge of the lake Jay must break down the lake in 24 hours and see what sort of fishing success he can find.
In episode 1, Jay Siemens takes a hands-on approach to find out where his bait comes from. Starting by netting some spring suckers, he then follows up by putting that sucker meat to use as bait and learning the art of trapping leeches with commercial trapper Scott Green. The whole process comes full circle by heading out on Lake of the Woods with Samantha Wallin in search of Lake of the Wood's prized possession, the golden Walleye.
