Jay Siemens and Josh Mcfaddin go back to the basics and head out shore fishing on the beaches of Lake Winnipeg in search of Channel Catfish And Freshwater Drum. While these aren't fish aren't generally associated with table-fare in Manitoba, Josh is here to change that conversation. The trip is wrapped up trying to find a trophy sized Catfish on the mighty Red River of Manitoba.
In this episode, Jay Siemens searches for warmer water with his kayak and fly rod in search of pike. The post-spawn bite is on and Jay lands a few big fish right next to the boat. Later, Jay heads to bigger water, gets dangerously close to a Canadian moose nest, and catches a couple monster pike.
On this episode, Jay walks us through the art of making lures at home for walleye and puts them to test on the water. A beautiful day turns into a perfect opportunity to cook out on the boat.
Jay Siemens is at it again and headed to the Rainy River with guest Ryan Lilly in search of sturgeon. Water levels are high, but the team dials in their tactics to land a sturgeon that is nearly as big as their kayak.
