A stand-up comedian is found murdered in a television studio: inspectors Guerra and Baroni are investigating the complicated case. Meanwhile, a teacher sees a Chinese child returning to class with a seriously injured hand: the police suspect it is an accident at work.
The Sant'Andrea police station is involved in the investigation of a triple murder case: a hairdresser, killed after being savagely beaten; the owner of a car repair shop, tortured with a blowtorch; a suffocated car dealer who, before dying, had time to carve a cross on a door.
Carlotta Santarcangelo, in revenge for her father's arrest, shoots Fabrizio, who falls into a coma. Colleagues mobilize to frame Santarcangelo, accused of mafia association. Meanwhile Pietro investigates the mysterious death of a woman in a women's prison: after discovering that Irene Scotti was pregnant with her, the inspector suspects sexual assault resulting in murder to avoid scandals.
A bomb placed in a car causes the car to explode and injure a young policewoman. Cafasso discovers that the bomb attack was actually directed against two Camorristi and, with the help of a magistrate, traces back to the principal: he is the head of a clan, who is hiding in a villa.
Elena Baroni deals with a case of rape: during the investigation it turns out that the rapist had previously raped another woman. Laura Onorato manages to discover a drug dealing ring in a nightclub.
In the trunk of an abandoned car, the discovery of the body of a 26-year-old girl, Mirella Cuomo, murdered with stabs and with her left ring finger amputated. From the first investigations it emerges that the girl was the girlfriend of a well-known repentant offender.
When leaving a supermarket, a mother can no longer find her four-year-old son: Pietro and Elena discover an abusive ex-husband in the woman's past. Meanwhile, Sergio discovers that Tania is HIV positive and Laura and Fabrizio see emotional problems negatively affecting their professional activity.
Two wealthy spouses are bound and gagged by three men in their apartment. It turns out that the theft is not the first one perpetrated in the same way. A new investigator joins the Sant'Andrea police team: Edoardo Valle.
The body of Alice Orefice, 12 years old, is found on the beach of Vico Equense. Emanuela, a friend of hers, confesses that she is aware of Alice's relationship with a grown man. Elena Baroni, meanwhile, is hosting a friend of hers who is being blackmailed by a trafficker in the area because of a debt.
A doctor is shot while driving in his garage. The surgeon is wounded and Pietro, Sergio and Stefano investigate the various leads: is it a terrorist attack, a crime of passion or is there a professional motive?
The agents come across an abandoned crashed car: they identify the injured owner, who gives extremely vague explanations of what happened. The Bandinis, for whom the lady is a custodian in Pozzuoli, receive threats from strangers and turn scared to the Sant'Andrea police station.
Agent De Pretis infiltrates a gang of counterfeiters to be able to catch them red-handed and arrest them. Inspector Baroni instead investigates the murder of a young thief, shot dead by the owner of a shop exasperated by the constant thefts.
Three men break the hand of a boxer named Santo Lucci and Guerra and Amato take on the case. Guerra hires the daughter of the deputy commissioner, Daniela Cafasso, as a babysitter for her children. Fabrizio Nava and Laura Onorato instead investigate a suspicious coming and going from an apartment.
The first case of the episode seems to be a settlement of accounts: a man is wounded by a hitman and, during the investigation, the involvement of a dangerous fugitive emerges. Superintendent Amato, readmitted to the team, must go to an old factory where shots have been heard.
Carmelo Battisti issued false residence permits to young black people by exploiting their work: Commissioner Baroni investigates the case. Some police officers instead deal with the case of a bank manager who steals money from the coffers.
On the outskirts of Naples, a girl is found covered in blood and in a state of shock: Guerra and Baroni will investigate the matter, while Amato is demoted to archivist of the deputy commissioner Cafasso due to his coexistence with Tania. Agent Nava, in the second episode, decides to infiltrate the religious sect he is investigating.
A young couple has just got married, but a burst of machine gun fire on the wall of the Church breaks their joy. This is a warning, but to find out who it is addressed to, Inspector Guerra and the Superintendent of Investigation Amato will have to intervene. To complicate the case, a woman's complaint against Father Mauro takes over.
An elderly lady is found murdered together with her friend in an apartment. Inspector Baroni is investigating the case, supported by agent De Pretis. Sergio meanwhile does everything to try to get Tania a residence permit. During the investigation into the murder of the two ladies, agent Laura Onorato shoots a criminal, killing him.
The superintendent Sergio Amato is looking for Lele, a guest of a therapeutic community who disappeared. When the boy's lifeless body is found, inspectors Baroni and Guerra also take over the investigation. In the meantime, Pietro thinks of leaving the police to be able to devote himself more to his wife and family.
A child is run over by an Alfa 33 which runs away without helping him: the agents investigate to discover the identity of the hit-and-run driver. Sandro Scano, murderer of his wife, has been released from prison and wants to take revenge on Inspector Guerra.
Antonio Arena, accused years earlier by Inspector Guerra on charges of pedophilia, is shot dead while walking through the streets of Naples. While Guerra and Baroni investigate, another offender awaiting appeal is killed, on whom the same charge was pending. In the second episode, agent Sergio Amato realizes that he has fallen in love with the prostitute with whom he spends many evenings and when he learns that she has been beaten by her pimp, he decides to intervene.
Agent Paolo Esposito, whose involvement in the affairs of the underworld was discovered by Guerra, decides to collaborate with the judiciary, but to improve his position he has Sanniti, head of the organization in which he was an accomplice, indicted. Angelo, a friend of the agent Stefano Depretis, is killed with the pistol stolen from the superintendent Antonio Ramaglia.
An explosion of malicious origin took place in the house of a Neapolitan merchant: Guerra understands that the shopkeepers in the neighborhood where the merchant lives are all victims of extortion by a felon. During the investigation, the commissioner will discover that even one of his men is corrupt and has ties to the local underworld.
Alfredo Spinosi, owner of a building company, is found dead. The investigation will lead to a swinger club tour.
A man shows up at the police station to report the disappearance of his daughter: Inspector Elena Baroni will investigate the case. Meanwhile, the search for the culprit in Tommaso De Rosa's death continues and Commissioner Cafasso reveals his suspicions about a colleague of theirs to Inspector Pietro Guerra.
The police officers of the Sant'Andrea police station investigate a gang specializing in robberies in supermarkets. During the investigation, the policeman Tommaso De Rosa, who monitored the movements of the suspects, was killed.
