A phone call to Sant'Andrea reports an apparent case of suicide: the investigation reveals a young vessel captain involved in dark affairs and particular friendships. The resolution of the case will have a strong repercussion on Cafasso's decisions, who feels the time has come to face Pietro again.
The men of Sant'Andrea are busy solving the murder of a waiter at the Hotel Partenope. Different names, unknown people, a complicated mess for the men of the team to unravel. A cheerful birthday party ends up becoming a theater of violence and anguish.
A woman comes out of a laundry holding her cyanotic son in her arms: at the hospital it is discovered that the child had swallowed a diamond. Meanwhile, the body of a woman is found in a car, who turns out to be a widow looking for a man who had disappointed her in love and had asked her to borrow money.
