We catch up with Cara and Ben in Bishop's Stortford, where it's not just their family that's expanded. And after Tom and Kaitlyn's fruitless search, did they venture into Kent?
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer catch up with couples who they had to get onto the same page. In 2013, Carolyn and Paul wanted to quit renting and buy their own home in London. Carolyn had never bought before, but Paul had previously owned in Sheffield so was wary of London prices and more cautious than Carolyn. And in 2014, Anna and Graeme had viewed over 50 properties in southwest Yorkshire but were being held back by Graeme's cautious approach. He'd previously lost money on a property and Anna was finding it difficult to help give him the confidence to take the leap once more.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer scour the south coast between Southampton and Bognor Regis, where both the tide and the pressure to find properties are running high. In Southampton, Kirstie helps Antoinette and Matt revive their attempts to get on the property ladder. And Phil's with Catherine who wants a fresh start in charming Chichester.
In south London, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer search for a flat for first-time buyers Adam and Nicole, and a townhouse for world-record-holding rower Kat.
Kirstie and Phil are in Yorkshire, where more space is key to their house-hunters. Kirstie's with active couple and NHS workers Emily and Joe, whose rental agreement is coming to an end, and they're having trouble finding a perfect first home which is big enough for all their belongings
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer scour the Sussex coast for two sets of house-hunters at opposite ends of their property journey. Kirstie's with retired painters and decorators Amanda and Annette, who want a spacious bungalow in a serene setting to suit their futureproofing needs. Meanwhile, Phil helps first-time buyers Danit and Rafi, who are after a one-bed flat close to the buzz of Brighton and Hove. Although they both agree that being close to the area's vibrant queer and Jewish communities is a top priority, Rafi wants Brighton and Danit prefers Hove.
