Miss Ellie and Clayton return home for the annual Southfork barbecue. JR manages to get one over on Cliff. Katherine vows to get rid of Jenna.
JR's secretary is forced by Cliff into spying for him. After JR finds out he turns Sly into a double agent. Bobby and Pam continue to fight their feelings for each other.
In an effort to hold onto Bobby, Katherine attempts to bribe Jenna. JR is concerned that Sue Ellen and Peter have become more than friends but Sue Ellen is keeping her distance.
Cliff's comments about Jock and Digger don't sit to well with the Ewing family. After Jenna and Bobby spend the night together, Katherine is upset at not being Bobby's date. J.R. wonders if Charlie could be Bobby's daughter.
Ray learns his fate as his trial for the murder of Mickey comes to an end. Pam isn't happy to see Jenna at the Oil Baron's Ball.
Ray's murder trial gets under way. Bobby runs into Jenna Wade. Sue Ellen's interest in Peter causes jealousy from J.R.
Ray ends up being charged with Mickey's murder. Punk reveals who the winner is in the battle for Ewing Oil. Holly attempts to pursue a relationship with Bobby.
Mickey's depression increases Ray ends up taking some drastic action after Micjey's health deteriorates. Pam considers an offer to team with Cliff and Mark. Cliff wants Sly to spy for him.
Pam and Bobby begin divorce proceedings. Peter starts to become smitten with Sue Ellen. Lucy attempts to comfort Mickey; J.R. continues to play Bobby in their contest to control the company.
Katherine attempts to convince both Bobby and Pam to get a divorce. Sue Ellen looks help in dealing with John Ross' mental health issues.
Sue Ellen wants autonomy from J.R. Pam and Bobby talk about getting back together. Clayton wants Bobby to look after Miss Ellie.
Bobby attempts to rescue those trapped in the fire at Southfork. Mickey opens his eyes.
