Neighbours is an Australian television soap opera. The show's storylines concern the domestic and professional lives of the people who live and work in Erinsborough, a fictional suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The series primarily centres around the residents of Ramsay Street, a short cul-de-sac, and its neighbouring areas, the Lassiters complex, which includes a bar, hotel, cafe, news office and park. Neighbours began with three families created by Watson – the Ramsays, the Robinsons and the Clarkes. Watson said that he wanted to show three families who are friends living in a small street. The Robinsons and the Ramsays had a long history and were involved in an ongoing rivalry.

The pressure of all the stresses in his life is getting on top of Toadie. The Erinsborough lawman is not only trying to hide Steph's secret but also, with Diana's help, masterminding a scheme to bring down Paul. Something is bound to give. And when Diana finds out about Toadie's affair with Sonya, she immediately understands Paul's hold over him. Is there anyone left who doesn't know the truth? The strain is also getting to Sonya, who doesn't much care for the underhanded side of Toadie. Meanwhile, Michael is stressed about his performance review, and is struggling to remove some embarrassing graffiti from one of the new boards. He had no choice to ask for Libby's help, but of course she isn't going to help him without anything in return. Looks like a ceasefire's on the cards.

Kate is annoyed Declan is being so negative, but he can't tell her the truth, and she is angry with him for pushing her away. Uh-oh, is another relationship doomed? Elsewhere, Libby and Michael are at war again, this time over a set of electronic whiteboards that Michael has installed without her knowledge. After hearing her criticising him, Michael decides to get revenge by making Libby do a demonstration on the new boards. But she links them up with her own laptop, and inadvertently reveals more than she intended.

Donna knows her dad Nick is likely to be less than enthusiastic about the hurried wedding, but she hasn't banked on opposition from Andrew. The terrible teen starts a campaign to put Donna off, which turns into full blown sabotage and he tells her he doesn't think the marriage will last. What is his hidden agenda this time? Meanwhile, Kate is struggling to cope with both dancing and teaching. She manages to find a gig for the troupe performing a dance class for a kids' party. And after initial opposition from the dancers, they get on board, and Candace suggests they can continue this kind of work with a tour of shopping malls. But there is a catch - Kate has a teaching placement coming up which she can't miss. So she is forced to choose. Will it be dancing or teaching?

After their feud about PirateNet, Zeke apologises to Donna, leaving her worried that everything in her life is going so well. Great friends, great boyfriend, good business - where is the catch? Then Ringo gets some news that look set to change things. He's won a Green Card. He isn't sure whether to go, and he definitely doesn't want to leave Donna, but his fiancee is far more enthusiastic. She proposes they go as a couple, as she can find work. But after Elle informs her finding work is unlikely, their plans look doomed. Until Zeke finds out that Ringo can take Donna if they get married really soon... Elsewhere, after much agonising, Steph decides to call Dan. But he is having none of it and asks her to stay away. Lucas and Libby can't understand why she's been calling Dan, but she manages to bluff her way out of it. But how much longer can the lie stay secret?

After their secret tryst, Diana believes she has the evidence to blackmail Paul, but she has underestimated him. The video footage doesn't show anything incriminating, so she is back to square one, and Paul is happy to gloat about it. But then Rebecca decides to get friendly with Diana, leaving Paul sweating once again. Meanwhile, Lyn finds out about Dan's accident, and her inability to keep a secret means that Libby soon knows about it too. She is shocked that her friends kept it a secret from her. If only she knew... And when Lucas returns, the group hears the news on Dan's condition. He is doing okay, but has suffered a complication in hospital which means he can't have children. Libby feels terrible for him and Steph is consumed with guilt. Should she tell Dan he isn't going to be childless after all?

It's Andrew's birthday, but no-one's remembered and he's still in the dog house over his dealings with Diana. Thankfully he's told Harry, who told Summer, so eventually the family find out and arrange an impromptu party for the tearaway teen. Natasha isn't happy that her boyfriend hasn't confided in her and resorts to making digs at Summer again, but she rises above it. Meanwhile, Paul confronts Diana about her plans to destroy him. Her boss Rosemary has told her not to act, but Diana has other ideas. So Paul suggests they can work together to take over Lassiters, but she needs proof of his allegiance to her. So he does the ultimate dirty deed and cheats on Rebecca with Diana. Then Diana reveals she has no plans to work with him after all, despite what has just happened, and as a guilty Paul heads back to his family, she unveils video evidence of their time together.

And in an attempt to make up for giving Diana all the information she needed on Paul, Andrew tries to think of ways to save PirateNet. When Paul announces he is hiring shock jock Paddy Sullivan for the station, Zeke quits in protest. So Andrew recruits Donna to fill his place, and she is a surprise hit. But Zeke isn't impressed that she's gone behind his back, even though Andrew has told her Zeke is ill, not on strike. Realising what Andrew has been up to, Declan turns on him, but Paul defends his son, leaving Rebecca despairing about the men in her life. But when Paul discovers Andrew's role in Diana finding out about the finances, he is livid. Meanwhile, Natasha finds out the truth about Chris and Summer's night in the hotel.

Andrew is up to his usual tricks, trying to get one over on Declan and just generally showing off. So when he sees Declan with Diana, he is jealous. He wants to get in with her too so he can get a promotion. When he offers his services to her, Diana sees an opportunity, and asked Andrew to get her some confidential documents from Paul's things. Little does he know that he is helping to prove Paul's crimes. When Paul finds out he blames Declan, but Declan knows the real culprit. Elsewhere, Callum finds his way into a comedy club, but is spotted by Lucas and Michael who take him home. He'd been a student-teacher when she was Principal, and she had failed him. But Susan argues back, telling him how badly he had affected her and that he wasn't fit to be a teacher, leading him to confess to the police. Everyone is impressed by Susan's bravery, but they aren't sure if she should go back to university yet. But she is inspired by Ringo returning to his course and decides she can't let the bullying episode rule her life. Elsewhere, Diana finds out that Declan is actually Paul's stepson. She wants more information from him, but he is worried. And an ultimatum from Diana that she'll take down the whole family if he doesn't help just makes things worse.

With a bee in their bonnet about Susan's stalker, Zeke and Libby take the day off to investigate. They find that one of the text messages has come from Gemma, but it is a dead end. Then Zeke remembers tutor John Bradley had offered to help, and asks him for information on Gemma. Meanwhile, Toadie has been keeping Susan company for the day, and takes her for a hospital appointment where the doctors tell her the MS has not resurfaced. But while she is sitting in Toadie's car waiting for him, she sees Zeke and Libby getting into John's car - and it is exactly like the one she has seen following her! In a snap decision, she decides to follow him. Elsewhere, Terry is offered a six-month job on a cruise ship and invites Lyn to come with him. At first she is delighted, but when her friends suggest Terry might want to be more than just friends with her, she has to decline.
