The church plans a big party for Boyce's anniversary as pastor, but the parishioners turn on him when he seems ungrateful.
Stamps gets sucked into a self-help philosophy; Lolli tries to get her salon on St. Louis Weekly's hot list; Barton refuses to go to the dentist.
Boyce tries to stay out of the way when Lolli's mother comes to visit; Stamps wants to impress Kim and make her regret breaking up with him.
Nikki brings a dog to the office without permission, but Boyce thinks she's undermining his authority. Meanwhile, Barton's regular barbershop closes, so he starts hanging out at Lolli's salon; and Stamps gets a rude awakening at his new job.
An inexperienced Lolli must deliver a last-minute sermon in Boyce and Barton's absence. When the congregation responds positively, Lolli gets the preaching bug.
When Nikki wears out her welcome, Boyce and Lolli decide to play matchmaker.
Gooch is unhappy that Boyce is using stories about his life in sermons; Lolli receives a bad Yelp review.
Boyce learns that Nikki and her friends are taking a weekend trip without inviting Lolli; Stamps is excited to spend time with his brother.

When Lolli is wrongfully accused of shoplifting, Boyce convinces the community to protest; Stamps asks for help from Lester.
When Boyce feels like his congregation is dying off, Lolli and Nikki convince him to visit a church with a younger crowd; Stamps gets involved with a woman.
A blizzard traps Boyce and Lolli in the house with Stamps, Barton and Beyonce's cousin Nikki; supplies dwindle and tempers flare.
